The Slovak hockey team returned to Slovakia triumphantly on April 11 after winning bronze at the World Ice Hockey Championships in Helsinki by beating the Czech Republic 4:2.
Thousands watched Saturday's third-place play-off match in Bratislava's SNP Square and thousands more turned out on Sunday evening to greet the returning team.
The team won €540,000, of which the players will receive 60 percent.
