Doctors to be paid more

ACCORDING to plans introduced by Health Minister Rudolf Zajac, the reward provided to medical practitioners by insurance companies is to increase as of either June 15 or July 1.

Doctor's surgeries should receive higher payments for each registered patient. Specialists and doctors in areas with high unemployment can also expect their remuneration to increase as a result of the measure.

Other plans include better support for preventative medicine and a wider range of medical supplies covered by insurance companies.
