Was money embezzled from EU campaign?

Less than 48 hours after the successful EU referendum, the information campaign that preceded it is under investigation, following accusations of unlawful payments.

Head of the anti-corruption section of the Government Office Ján Hrubala said: "Materials, that we have received show at least a suspicion that money disappeared into thin air. There are suspicions that contracts signed by the Government Office were not fulfilled, were fictitious."

The case is under investigation, according to the Interior Ministry.
