State-run television company STV yesterday told 1,015 workers that they were to be made redundant. The redundancies have been planned since the beginning of the year to reduce the heavy losses of the company.
Most of the jobs will go from the Bratislava studios, with 234 in Košice and 104 in Banská Bystrica.
