BRATISLAVA-based carmaker Volkswagen Slovakia produced the millionth car in its 12-year history on May 28.
The company increased its production by almost 25 percent last year, producing over 225,000 cars, and plans to increase output by a further 10 percent this year.
The company, which employs over 9,000 people, makes the Volkswagen Polo, Golf, Bora, and Touareg, and the Seat Ibiza. The possibility of expanding to include the Audi Pikes Peak is currently under discussion.
