New investor for eastern Slovakia

Spanish firm Jobels wants to invest Sk240 million (€5.8 million) in a plant near Košice in eastern Slovakia. The plant will produce upholstery for the car industry.

"In the first phase we want to invest Sk150 million (€3.6 million) in the plant and in a year a further Sk90 million (€2.2 million)," said the owner of Jobels, José B. Beltran.

The Spanish firm has been in the car industry for over 30 years.
