Slovakia's largest producer of solar panels, Thermosolar, has won a Sk1.3 million (?32,000) contract to build a 200-square-metre solar panel for a hotel complex in Morocco.
"This is the largest single contract with a African client in the history of the firm, and shows the potential for further orders in this area," said Thermosolar director Milan Novák.
The company also has installations at the Czech embassy in Tunisia, and hotels in Cairo and Botswana.
