Government still lagging on EU funds

The government has submitted only two of seven documents required for withdrawing EU funds.

"The communication between the ministries working on the documents has dragged on," said Ján Ježo from the Economy Ministry, responsible for preparing one of the two successful documents, the Industry and Services Operational Programme.

Individual grant applications must correspond to the contents of the operational programmes and the National Development Plan, which the government must submit to the EU.
