Former head of the Slovak Information Service Ivan Lexa was released from prison on June 5. He still faces charges of fraud, sabotage, trafficking in illegal weapons, and abuse of office, among others. When first accused in 2000, he fled the country, and was eventually captured last year in South Africa.
