VÍŤAZOSLAV Moric, former MP and member of the Slovak National Party has been charged with illegal arms trading, Interior Minister Vladimír Palko said.
According to the minister, Moric's firm Armex attempted to sell military equipment to communist North Korea.
Palko told the Slovak daily SME that police are investigating three culprits in the trade, including Moric.
He said: "Criminal proceedings started against the former general director of Armex, against one of his employees, and against a former boss of the office for military equipment with the Interior Ministry."
