AUSTRIAN actor Klaus Maria Brandauer will be one of four celebrities receiving the Actor's Mission Award at this year's Art Film Festival in Trenčianske Teplice.
Brandauer, whose plaque will be added to the Bridge of Fame on June 27, is best known for his work in the film Out of Africa. He made his acting debut in the 1960s but finally gained international acknowledgment in 1981 for his role in István Szabo's film Mephisto.
Presenting the award for best young scriptwriter will be the French director and writer Alain Robbe-Grillet. Grillet, who was a member of the Art Film Festival jury in previous years and shot two of his films in Slovakia.
