China gives Slovakia X-ray machine

Slovakia has received a precision X-ray machine as a gift from China, following President Rudolf Schuster's visit to the country.

China hopes to break into the European market for X-ray machines and so the only condition of the gift was that Slovakia should tell its European neighbours if they are satisfied with the machine.

Schuster's gifts to China were somewhat smaller, a traditional valaška hatchet and a fujara musical instrument.
