The consumer prices in Slovakia rose 0.4 percent over June and the monthly core inflation was 0.7 percent. The June increase in consumer prices was in line with expectations of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS).
The central bank predicts that higher prices of cigarettes would have a major impact on the price level in July.
