Parliament amends law on judiciary

PARLIAMENT has revised the law on judges, introducing the principle of zero tolerance to corruption as of September 1.

Earlier this month, parliament agreed to introduce this principle into the law on notaries and executors. A revised law on prosecutors is in the pipeline, SME reported.

Those lawyers convicted of a serious criminal offence or corruption will be permanently disbarred.
