President Rudolf Schuster is spending part of his summer break in Ukraine meeting his counterpart Leonid Kuchma whom the western world has condemned for his disrespect to democratic rule.
Schuster's regular meetings with Kuchma are a scandal and unpleasant faux pas, according to political scientist Miroslav Kusý.
Schuster has already been criticized for his friendly links with Kuchma but he has not accepted the criticism.
The Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry considers Schuster's holiday his private business.
