New Slovak ambassador to the US meets Powell

Upon his arrival in Washington, New Slovak Ambassador to the United States Rastislav Káčer presented copies of his letter of credence to US Secretary of State Colin Powell on July 30.

Powell described Slovakia as a true ally of the United States and hopes that Slovak-US relations intensify.

Káčer has delivered an official invitation for US President George Bush to visit Slovakia.
