Three Slovaks die in Colorado

A CAR journey in Colorado had a tragic end for three young Slovaks who were working at a tourist centre, Steamboat Springs, within the Work and Travel programme. Two other Slovaks who were riding in the same car were injured after the car collided with a truck.

The Slovak driver was arrested and charged with the crime of negligent driving resulting in death. Later he was released on $3000 (€2660) bail.
