The Labour Ministry plans to introduce measures to encourage the unemployed to find work. The measures includes changing entitlement to resettlement payments, paying transport costs for looking for work, and paying a premium to those out of work for less than six months.
The plans aim to make job seeking more attractive than staying on the dole, with the unemployed expected to visit labour offices twice as often as it required today.
If parliament passes the new proposal in the autumn, it will come into effect from January next year.
