Sweet, Too Sweet (Sladké, príliš sladké) is the title of an exhibition currently running at the ÚĽUV Design Studio on Dobrovičová 13 until September 26. In the project two young designers, Katarína Mácová and Zuzana Ordódyová, present textile objects connected by the theme of sweets. There are cushions, purses and miniature clothing. FAMOUS chanson singer Hana Hegerová and The Orchestra of Peter Malásek will appear with their concert program in Košice, Prešov and Nitra this week. With her charismatic voice and unique songs, Hegerová finds her way directly to people's hearts. Her carefully chosen songs are full of stories, memories, hopes and dreams. She will sing 25 songs, some of them in English, for example The Man I Love by George Gerschwin and For Sentimental Reason by Wiliam Best. Performances are on September 4 at the House of Arts in Košice, September 5 at The Jonáš Záborský Theatre in Prešov, September 7 at Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra. All concerts start at 19:00.
