Nový Čas most popular newspaper

NOVÝ Čas, a tabloid newspaper, remains Slovakia's most popular publication, followed by Pravda and SME.

One in four Slovaks read Nový Čas, showed a Market&Media&Lifestyle survey conducted by the Median agency from April 28 to August 24 on a sample of 2,214 respondents.

Pravda and SME are read by 9 percent of respondents, followed by Šport and Národná obroda with 6 and 3 percent of readers, respectively.

The survey also showed that private TV Markíza remains the country's most watched channel with a viewership rate of 67 percent, SITA news wire wrote.

In the radio category, the public Rádio Slovensko is most popular.
