THE PETRŽALKA Mouse 2003 festival will screen animated films made by pupils of Elementary Art Schools, handicapped children, and high-school students from around Slovakia, as well as children and youth from France. The festival, which is this year's third instalment, will show several silent animated movies made using computer techniques. Held by the Friends of Animated Film foundation, the event will run from 14:00 to 17:00 on November 21 at the CC Centre on 3 Jiráskova. Admission is free. For more information call 02/6382-4390.

LIVE MUSIC: Bratislava Hot Serenaders - The band's dancers and singers perform jazz music from the 20s and 30s.

JAAKKO HEIKKILÄ is one of the photographers whose work is currently being displayed at the Contemporary Finnish Photography exhibition running at the House of Photography in Poprad. The documentary-style pictures capture the fast and traumatic structural changes that Finland is undergoing. Other photographers represented are Veli Granö, Kati Koivikko, Pekka Turunen, Sanni Seppo, and Marja Pirilä. The exhibition is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 until December 14. The Dom fotografie (House of Photography) sits on Námestie sv.
