Smoking children

IN SLOVAKIA, 64 percent of children have tried smoking. The country has been ranked among the countries with the highest rate of young smokers, daily Národná Obroda reported.

In a nationwide survey, the National Health Institute has found that almost a fourth of children actively smoke and 12 percent smoke cigars.

Almost 80 percent of children encountered no problems when buying cigarettes at stores or news stands.
