ON THE SAME day that the parliamentary discussion of the 2004 state budget is scheduled to start, Slovak President Rudolf Schuster will hold his annual state of the nation address in the assembly.
Speaker of Slovak parliament Pavol Hrušovský informed journalists on November 25 that the parliament will discuss 75 laws and other legislative issues during the upcoming session.
It is unknown what the president will focus on in his speech.
The December 9 address will be his last, as his presidential term ends in the spring.
