Businesses complain of energy firms' profits

KLUB 500, a union of businesses that employs over 500 people, thinks the guaranteed profits of local energy firms are too high, SME daily wrote on November 22.

The state guarantees the energy firms a profit of 12 percent of production costs.

Klub 500 also complained that Slovak clients were charged higher fees for the transportation of gas in the local network than were their Czech counterparts.
