Trade unions' petition goes on

TRADE union leader Ivan Saktor announced on December 8 that unions have so far collected 312,008 signatures from citizens supporting early elections in Slovakia.

For the president to be obliged to call a referendum on early elections, 350,000 valid signatures must be delivered to the president.

Saktor said at a press conference on December 8 that he would have those signatures in one week's time.
