Britain need not fear Roma exodus

ROMA officials have calmed down fears of a possible exodus of Slovak Roma to Great Britain following the lifting of the UK visa regime with Slovakia on December 18.

The Slovak daily Pravda wrote on December 15 that František Guľáš, head of the Slovak Roma Council, said that Roma from the east of the country knew well that they have zero chance of being granted political asylum in the kingdom.
