PM to Afghanistan

SHORTLY before Christmas, Slovak PM Mikuláš Dzurinda will visit the nation's unit in Afghanistan to thank the military engineers for their work.

The Slovak daily Pravda wrote on December 13 that a source close to the cabinet office revealed that Dzurinda will bring small presents to the soldiers and a traditional Christmas cabbage soup will be served.

According to the source, the PM wants to thank the Slovak military engineers for representing their country and for the good work they have done clearing mine fields in the post-war country.
