Learn traditional western Slovak dances

FOLK dancers and teachers calling themselves Dragúni invite you to attend another of their regular House of Traditional Dances lessons on Tuesday, January 13, at 19:00 at the V-Club on SNP 12 in Bratislava.

This time, the professional dance teachers will teach you old-style dances from western Slovakia, such as the mazurka, polka, and čerešničky (cherries). The folk band of Samko Smetana will play, and a video-projection on a wall will help to better illustrate the nature and steps of the individual dances. The lessons are for beginners as well as advanced dancers.

Admission is Sk70. For more information call 0905/316-272 or visit www.tanecnydom.sk.
