Racially motivated crimes on the rise

Over the last year the number of racially motivated crimes in Slovakia has increased. The police recorded 113 crimes motivated by racism or a similar intolerance, news wire SITA reported.

The largest number of racially motivated crimes last year (37) was committed in the Bratislava region, while the lowest number was recorded in both the Nitra and Prešov regions (17).
