Correction

In its January 26 issue, The Slovak Spectator printed the following incorrect information: "Samsung Electronics Slovakia manager Kim Seong Jim told the press that, by the end of 2005, the company plans to start the production of household appliances, which will bring investments of €40 million." Samsung Electronics does not plan the production of household appliances in Slovakia. In addition, the Galanta-based plant will not serve as the company's European headquarters. The Slovak Spectator apologises for any inconveniences that the incorrect information may have caused.

The Slovak Spectator also apologises to AmCham director Jake Slegers for misspelling his name in its Book of Lists 2004 publication.
