Slovak cars run on low quality petrol

SEVEN of the eight biggest fuel distributors in Slovakia are selling low-quality petrol, the Slovak Trade Inspection found.

The eight petrol chains control 70 percent of the petrol stations (563 of 800) and supply 80 percent of the cars in Slovakia, the daily Pravda wrote.

The inspection detected the most imperfections in products offered by Jurki (43.2 percent), followed by the Agip and Slovnaft chains. The least shortcomings were found at petrol stations run by Shell and Conoco - JET.
