THE THIRD part of the controversial exhibition Bound in Skin, which came into being in Hungary, is currently taking place at the Museum of Hungarian Culture (MMK) in Bratislava. The display includes photographs, body remains, and coffins that are artistically arranged by various Hungarian artists, historians, ethnographers, and psychologists. For instance, it includes an analysis of plastic surgery and its aim of creating a perfect and immortal body by psychologist Márta Csabai. The concept originated during a lecture delivered by Péter Tóth (who also exhibits) to his students about the meanings of the human body in culture. The exhibition takes place at Brämerova kúria mansion house at Žižkova 18 and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 until May 31. Admission is Sk20 and Sk40. Tel: 02/5441-2021.
