Reader feedback: Desiring Mečiar

A look at the positive side

After reading a lot of blather about how terrible the results of the election were, and in my opinion few of the candidates were all that qualified outside Kukan, as long as the election was free and fair it should be celebrated. It has been a short time since Slovakia has been a place where one could actually count on free and fair elections, and if the people chose Mečiar and Gašparovič as one and two, then that is who they will get.

My compliments to Ivanko [Gašparovič] and Vladko [Mečiar], good luck in the second round. To those who complain, you should have voted.
