Danfoss moves to Zlaté Moravce

THE DANISH concern Danfoss is planning to relocate its complete compressor production from Germany to the western Slovak town of Zlaté Moravce, the economic daily Hospodárske noviny wrote.

According to the daily, Danfoss is one of the world's five leading producers of compressors for freezers and refrigerators and has plants in Germany, Slovakia, Mexico, and Slovenia.

Danfoss' current plant in Zlaté Moravce has 200 employees. It was built on the site of a former refrigerator plant, which the conpany reconsructed and equipped for €25 million.
