Radio in the red

THE STATE funded public radio broadcaster Slovenský rozhlas (SRo) ended 2003 in the red, despite a state injection of Sk325 million (€8.1 million), the Slovak daily SME wrote.

SRo's loss reached Sk63 million (€1.6 million) with an income of Sk989 million (€24.7 million) and expenditures exceeding Sk1 billion (€24.95 million), SME wrote on April 17.
