Bugár pushes constitutional change

THE HEAD of the ruling Hungarian Coalition Party, Béla Bugár, proposed that the leaders of the ruling parties support a constitutional amendment binding representatives to the decisions of the parliamentary EU affairs committee in EU talks.

The ruling Christian Democrats have been campaigning for such an amendment for some time, but has not yet found support for it, wrote the economic daily Hospodárske noviny.
