Divani plant in construction

DIVANI, a Danish producer of luxury leather furniture, began construction of its plant in Poltár that aims to employ 120 people in the first stage of the project.

At a later stage, the Divani project could employ up to 500 people.

Divani's investment in Slovakia reaches Sk100 million (€2.5 million), the Slovak economic daily Hospodárske noviny wrote.

The firm plans to export over 90 percent of the plant's production to the Scandinavian and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) states.
