NEW candidates competing to participate in the popular Porta and Lodenica summer festivals of folk/country music and fun will gather in Ružomberok on May 22. Over 20 of them will perform local folk influenced by American country music from the early morning, starting at 9:00. An hour later, dancers will come to join the musicians and all will compete until 18:00, with free entertainment following.
