2003 public finance deficit at 3.5 percent

ACCORDING to ESA 95 methodology, the public finance deficit of the Slovak Republic in 2003 reached Sk41.5 billion (€1 billion), which is 3.6 percent of GDP.

The private news agency SITA wrote that the consolidated debt reached Sk512.1 billion (€12.7 billion), representing 42.8 percent of GDP.
