THE EXHIBITION Military Weapons, which opens on May 24 at the Slovak National Museum, displays weapons used during the first half of the 20th century by the Czechoslovak army. Apart from weapons and various armaments produced in the country, the exhibition also presents weaponry of the Czechoslovak army that was produced in other countries, such as the Soviet Union and Germany. Altogether, 200 exhibits are displayed. The exhibition opens at 16:00 on May 24 and runs until October 30. The museum sits at Vajanského nábrežie 2 and is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00. EXHIBITION: Days of Mexican Culture - Mexican artist Reyes Hermenegido displays his paintings that capture the life of his country's native citizens.

EXHIBITION: In the Rhythm of the Butterflies' Flight - Slovak and Austrian artists Daniel Fischer and Wilhelm Scherübl, respectively, depict the alliance of the neighbouring countries through art.

THE MUSIC festival May Chansons, featuring chansons, blues tunes, and cabaret songs, will start at 19:30 on May 29 at Pezinok's Dom kultúry (House of Culture) at Holubyho 42.
