Cabinet approves ZSE sale

THE MINORITY owner of the stake in the Západoslovenská energetika (ZSE), the German E.ON Energie, will gain another 41 percent of the energy firm, the Slovak cabinet decided.

Together, the German investor and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development own a 49 percent stake in ZSE.

According to the economic daily Hosodárske noviny, Economy Minister Pavol Rusko estimated the revenues from the sale of the 41 percent stake at Sk15 billion (€375 million).
