J&T to buy FC Sparta Praha

THE FINANCIAL group J&T is buying the biggest Czech football club, Sparta Praha, two sources close to the deal confirmed for the Slovak daily Pravda.

The deal, which is likely to see J&T pay 900 million Czech crowns (€28.6 million) for Sparta, should be officially announced at a June 4 press conference.

Sparta and J&T representatives did not comment on the information.
