Two killed in mafia shooting

ALLEGED gangland boss Peter H and his bodyguard were killed during a shooting near the Prístavný Bridge in Bratislava on June 6.

According to the police, Peter H’s Porsche Cayanne was waiting at a stop sign when a silver Audi approached and passengers started firing at the car. Two people were killed and a third managed to escape, later to end up in the hands of the police.

Police assume that the incident was connected with an underworld war between the Takáčovci and Sýkorovci criminal groups.

Peter H had been attacked before; in February he suffered light injuries when an unknown offender shot at him in downtown Senec.
