Two killed in mafia shooting

ALLEGED gangland boss Peter H and his bodyguard were killed during a shooting near the Prístavný Bridge in Bratislava on June 6.

According to the police, Peter H's Porsche Cayanne was waiting at a stop sign when a silver Audi approached and passengers started firing at the car. Two people were killed and a third managed to escape, later to end up in police custody.

Police assume that the incident was connected with an underworld war between the Takáčovci and Sýkorovci criminal groups.

Peter H had been attacked before; in February he suffered light injuries when an unknown person shot at him in downtown Senec.
