Taking place at the Stredoslovenské múzeum (The Central Slovak Museum) in Banská Bystrica until August 29, it primarily exhibits weapons from that region, including armour and swords from the bronze age, helmets from the Roman period, and lances, spring guns and riffles from the Middle Ages. The main idea behind the display is to present the weapons as objects that save lives rather than destroy them. The museum is located in the Thurzov dom (Thurza House) at Námestie SNP 4 in Banská Bystrica, and is open daily except Saturday from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00. Admission is Sk10 and Sk20.
