MiGs to be modernised for Slovakia

THE SLOVAK Defence Ministry signed a contract with the Russian firm RSK MiG on the modernisation of 12 MiG-29 fighter jets.

The Slovak daily Pravda wrote that the Slovak army would pay up to $10 million (€250,000) from its own sources. Another $43 million (€1.1 million) will be deducted from Russia's debt to Slovakia.
