Reader feedback: Farewell to the flock

Re: An unexpected blessing, By Owen V Johnson, May 31 - June 6, Vol 10, No 21

Congratulations to Paul and Kay [Hanson] for all the work they have done with the English-speaking community in Bratislava. I have had the opportunity to visit them several times over the years they spent working in the Malý Kostol [where Paul served as pastor].

They have been a welcoming presence and exceedingly gracious hosts, as they were for the concert we, the Central Lutheran Choir from Minneapolis, presented in the Malý Kostol sanctuary. They will be dearly missed!

One nuclear shelter with a capacity for several hundred people now serves as a music club with suitable name Subclub (formerly U-club).
