MiGs to be modernised

THE SLOVAK Defence Ministry signed a contract with the Russian firm RSK MiG for the modernisation of 12 MiG-29 fighter jets.

The Slovak daily Pravda wrote that the Slovak army would pay up to Sk10 million (€250,000) from military resources. Another Sk43 million (€1.1 million) will be deducted from Russia's debt to Slovakia.
