J&T rents cableways in the Tatras

THE FINANCIAL group J&T signed a five-year rental contract for the cableways in the Tatra mountain range, pledging to invest Sk1 billion (€25 million) in their development.

According to the SME daily, another Sk1 billion will be invested to improve the quality of tourist services in the Tatras.

According to J&T marketing director Petr Málek, the investments will go to the construction of technical snow facilities on the Hrebienok slopes in Tatranská Lomnica, as well as to the cableways.

“Our goal is to build a quality tourism centre for the winter and summer season,” Málek said.

J&T is interested in investing in other projects in the area of the Tatras, including the construction of a golf course in Veľká Lomnica.
