Reader feedback: Slovak ex-pats do their best

Re: Slovak ex-pats are hypocrites, Reader feedback, June 21 - 27, Vol 10, No 24

I am a third generation Slovak born in the US. I would like to return to the land of my family, and have returned six times. I love and respect The US and Slovakia equally (rough during hockey season). Some of us do what we can from where we live. The Bratislava/Cleveland sister cities project has sent medical supplies and other help to Slovakia.

As for expressing opinions, one must understand that in a free society every person has the right to their ideas, right or wrong in another person's eyes. By the way, I do consider myself an ex-pat, and will retire to my family village in Slovakia.
